I am delighted to be the Headteacher of The Whitby High School, a school that has been at the heart of Ellesmere Port for over fifty years and a school recently judged outstanding by Ofsted in our delivery of PSHCE. We are justifiably proud of our reputation within the community, a reputation built around a forward thinking ethos and long standing tradition.

21st May 2015 - Whitby Students meet ‘the Prince’
In recognition of the school’s involvement with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme a group of students were invited to meet Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, at the official opening of Ellesmere Port Sports Village on Thursday 21 May 2015.

24th March 2015 - Whitby Students Make Headlines in Berlin
Whitby High School pupils on a recent trip to Berlin were lucky enough to witness the solar eclipse at the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin’s most famous landmark.
While observing this spectacle of nature, the Whitby pupils were photographed by a journalist, who was documenting the events in Berlin.
